Winter is quite a large feline with broad shoulders. Her body slopes downward from her neck to her rear, her back legs being slightly shorter than her front legs. Winter's fur is long and bristly, giving her a shaggy and wild appearance. While most of her pelt is black, her back has a white-grey splotch topped with white stripes. Her chin and eyebrows are also white. Her eyes are a bright yellowish-red. The only scar that she has reaches from her right side to the right underside of her belly. Winter's claws are small, but her toes are longer than normal. She has a large underbite.

LIKES: Striking deals, exploring, traveling, kits, joking around, causing trouble, sleepingDISLIKES: Rain, water, lynxes, cats who break deals, cats who never take her seriously
FEARS: Water
BEST STRENGTH: Size and strength
WORST WEAKNESS: Speed and stamina
Winter is a cat that can easily get on your nerves. She is loud, sometimes obnoxious, and definitely egotistical. Not to mention she is the biggest jokester and love to mess around, often getting herself into trouble. Despite all of this, she can be a good cat, and be serious when she really needs to. Winter likes to look at the bright side of things, and never stops trying to cheer up anyone in a bad mood. Watch out if you get on her bad side, though(which is hard to do in itself). She had quite the fiery temper.

PARENTAGE: Winter loved her mother dearly, and was never treated poorly by her. Now her father, the young she-cat never knew. However, Caroline didn't seem to know him either, as it was common where they lived for cats to "get around" quite a lot.
YOUTH: Winter was born as an only-child to a single mother named Caroline. The two were part of a medium-sized community of felines living in an old, run-down, abandoned town. There, the food was scarce. It was all too common to see two cats fighting over a simple mouse out in the streets. Yet, no one wanted to venture far out into the woods surrounding the town, for they feared what they would fine. After all, what force drove all those twolegs from their nests?
If was when Winter was about 8 moons that she began striking deals with the other cats. Most of them were deals for her to steal food from other cats, or intimidate them into giving their dinner up. She was quite large for her age, but she never actually resorted to hurting anyone. In return, the cats in the deal would protect her and her sickly mother, often bringing them shares of their food, so that her mother stayed fed. It wasn't until Caroline finally died from illness that Winter stopped, deciding to finally venture out into the wilderness beyond her community at the age of 17 moons.
ADULTHOOD: Despite all of the fuss her old home seemed to make about the outside world, Winter actually found the woods and everything else quite amazing. She became a traveler, never staying in one place for long, with no clear goal at the end of her path. She actually met a lot of strange and interesting characters during her journey, but it was a certain young feline that changed her path. He was a small kit who went by the name Ducky, for he was born with splayed paws. Winter first ran into this kit when she took shelter in an old barn during a cold and stormy night. Ducky had apparently been hiding in the hay up in the loft when she came in. It wasn't until she made herself comfortable on an old blanket, about to nod off, that he made himself known. He had stayed quite a distance away, scared of the stranger at first, before he introduced himself. He had been living in the barn for his whole short life of 6 moons with his much older brother. When Winter inquired as to where the brother was, Ducky explained that he had ventured off in search of food a few days ago, and had yet to come back. The young feline had been catching and eating small barn mice while he was gone, but admitted to being very hungry and weak. Winter eventually took him under her wing, nursing him in the barn until he was strong again, and took him along with her on her journey. That is when her travels finally gained meaning. Ducky had often talked about how him and his brother were going to go find and live in their own paradise, and it was Winter that promised him that they would find it together.
Ducky and Winter were separated many, many moons later when the two were attacked by a wild lynx, giving the she-cat the scar she bears now. It was never really clear to her if Ducky survived or not, but she doesn't believe that he did. After the two were injured, Ducky seemingly dead, Winter led the lynx to a small gorge connected by a fallen tree. With the weight of them both on it, Winter was barely able to jump to safety before the old tree gave way, sending the lynx plummeting into the raging waters below. Exhausted and wounded, the she-cat collapsed near the gorge, waking up later in the care of small group of cats, who stated that they witnessed her escape. Thankful for getting rid of the cat that had killed some of their own, they helped Winter heal before she decided to set off once again, looking to fulfill her promise of finding Ducky's paradise.
